Optical Focusing
With world advanced focus algorithm under independently development, Axel can quickly and exactly complete part focus with 2-3 seconds. The repeat focus can reach to 0.003 mm which can be used for the tolerance measurement, such as height, flatness etc.
Adaptive Edge Detection
Our adaptive edge detection applies advanced sub-pixel algorithms to dramatically increase optical measurement accuracy. Automatic edge detection within specified ROI (region of interest), auto edge points. Edge detection provides tools and setups to deal with variety of surface finishes and lighting requirements.
Auto Focus
Build in autofocus is offered as standard for both manual and automatic video systems. Focusing an image before the dimension inspection takes place, increases inspection accuracy.
Curve scan and Form Error Analysis
Axel Video can automatically follow the edge of the part in order to obtain its 2D profile. The profile can be than compared with its nominal model.Best-fit operation finds the best match. Deviations are shown as colour map.
